Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Canon lenses needed

    Anyone know where to get cheap or second hand camera lenses for Canon camera, not specifically Canon, but something i could adapt to a 500D Canon.

    Adverts and eBay are usually pretty good.

    Adverts can be pretty average a lot of the time, but every once in a while you can trawl across a fantastic deal.


    Pixmania are doing a sale at the moment on some lenses I believe. Have heard terrible things about their customer/after sales service, but have never used them myself, so can't really comment.

    Got a lens off freecycle this morning. Its for my flatmates camera and he says he's not fussy, he can get adaptors for most non canon lenses. He has a lens off a Nikon already. It would preferably be for filming but its not essential. I think his opinion is that regardless of the lens, if he can get it to fit, he will use it.
