Universal Links on Human Rights flame out??

    $Hi Folks

    Just caught a bus from bus aras for the first time in ages and as we were pulling out i noticed the flame in the Universal Links on Human Rights monument (ball of chain on memorial road) appeared to be out.

    Maybe the inside just got really blackened with burn residue or has the recession reached far enough to snuff what supposed to be an eternal flame??

    Curious to see if anyone can confirm it is out and why. Anyone know anything about it??

    It seems to go out from time to time. Probably when some atrocities need to be carried out.
