    i wasnt on boards ,ie

    sorry my typings off

my regional broadband keeps going "local"

they working on fixing it - in mean time my boards .ie is loggin on off

nitemare to read n write ...

ive been race lover for years

    only gambled while back

if you watch enough racing you know how system works

the time of workforce 1m 4 f revealed it was nothing too specail as harbringer and cape blanco had numerous times matched the time/ beaten it

    check on racingpost form

anyway history shows som many favs overturned and when the hype gets as big as workforce did smell a rat if a horse appears on paper its either genuine or phoney lol

only exp. will tell you which

fav.s only wind a third of the time

    rest time outsiders

my advice is dont back fav.s

me detects alot sore fav, backers jealous cant take harbringers win at such price

    think outside the box.
think for yourselves dont follow the sheep so called experts

any real punter should had harbringer

exp. shows workforce wa a very beatable fake fav.

Wow. Such nonsense. Hindsight is a wonderful thing.

If that's the case any "real" punter must have the winner of each race to be a "real" punter, eh?

Great logic, I'm astounded by its genius.

what i mean is if you understand to see through all the spin propaganda and disinformers and think for yourselves yis actually might back a winner and not blow it on undercut favs.

    also study form yourselves

and anyway if you find a value price horse are yis gonna share it so the price goes down before race??

    ;)

why cant yis believe i backed harbringer at price he was b4 off at paddy powers bcos yis too blind backing fav.s

if yis cant believe the truth good luck tis yis

    Sure you did, well done.

No envy here, we just don't appreciate nonsensical sentences.

I don't ring any phoneline tipsters, don't worry.

I know how to read form, quite well actually, form is only a tiny percent of the selection process though. You seem to think that any "real" punter should of been on Harbinger, that's so stupid. Workforce set a track record at Epsom in the Derby and in stunning fashion, he was the one to be on if they were replicating their "form".

but pyro if you checked race times before that race youd known Harbringer ran some 3 seconds faster than that epsom record of workforces and cape blanco had decent times albeit at different distance

im sure your capable gambler too

just some comments replies obviously fom the lazu brigade who want us to study and do the hard work of picking winners for them

i love horse racing years with or without a bet

only some races are worthy of bet

im here to share enjoyment racing not get mudlled up in nit pickers arguements

    happy racing to all

    and like lastnites winner

    Enjoy Your Life ;) lol
    :)

havent looked at todays galway yet...

  • Moderators Posts: 8,719 ✭✭✭x PyRo

3 seconds faster but on a different course! If he ran Epsom 3 seconds quicker then your argument would be valid but it was a completely different course!

Anyways we'll leave it at that and best of luck if you back anything at Galway. :)

no point in disputin the fact because in the end

Harbringer won by 11 lengths -which some have a system of transferring lenghts to lbs / seconds but thats another story lol

as you say all racing is subjective and different horse for different courses
well all have opinions adn some days be right on mark and sometimes the anomalies of racing will make fools of us all

the hardest factor to read judge is corruption lol ;)

and we must always remember sometimes form counts for nothing ie

the old lady who won thousands on just picking names she likes!

    god help us! lol

Harbinger may well have ran it quicker on a different course, but a different course doesn't have a turn as tricky as Tatenen corner. I admit I didn't fancy it at all,I thought it was totally over rated. How wrong I was. Mind you,I'd still oppose it for the arc. Huge field of group 1 performers, you'll have to be a fantastic horse to win it. And I don't think Harbinger is a superstar.

is there a thread anywhere in the gambling forum especially
    dedicated to gloating i wonder?

Nobodys saying you did or didnt back the horse but people generally
come here to share opinions and not to gloat/afterpost especially
when others have lost on another horse.
I can gloat and say i made a nice bit at galway this evening
but i don't go down the route and most people dont want to see this.

its a gambling forum where users share opinions and i cant believe
the few quid you or a few of the users here would be gamblin
would shorten any horses price that much (especially in a market
as strong as the king george....lol)

if you dont have any opinions then why post in the gambling forum
    after the event?

just a reminder...no envy here by the way
    i did back it
