Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am using Jorte for the calender myself. Does the Go Launcher one sync up with google calenders coz I'd change just to use the transparent skin!

lads launcher home screen, is there a way to change the dock at the bottom? never used it as I don't like the 5 icons (like the stock 3 icon style) installed there but couldn't see any options. there was a dock style and theme but need to install ones. would these reduce the 5 icons?

    Thanks.

Not sure what launcher you are using, but try holding your finger on one of the dock buttons to open the options for it (change app, change icon etc.)

Sorry I use ADW and have it like this, but go launcher I was looking at, and was wondering if can change the number of icons across the bottom of the homescreen? as above on go launcher they have 5 across the bottom, can you change this to the style of vanilla gingerbread is what I am asking?

You can change icons to blank so theres nothing there. So you can have any number of icons at the bottom

Go to google calendars, look down to the left and click on the downwards arrow beside other calendars. Click interesting calendars > Sport > Football and voila, Arsenal is at the top of your list. Sync that up with whatever calendar app you have on your phone.

Ya, you can see it is already blown up before you used it, hence the pixelation. That picture I posted is the wallpaper I use myself. :D

    hi guys

have HTC hero... how do i change the screen to a diff one?

    In what way?
You can install launchers like Go Launcher EX, Launcher Pro or ADW to change the main home screen & app drawer.
Besides that its just a case of widgets/ shortcuts, etc

Get rid of the task killer. They do more harm than good. They were useful on earlier versions of android but no use anymore.

Yeah I just downloaded it as soon as I got my phone before I read about them.
Any thoughts on AutoKiller Memory Optimizer? It seems to be different to task killers

Any app that auto kills anything is`nt needed, like was mentioned the OS can handle what it needs to, in order to be working sufficiently.

What ever app or what not you have or get just set them up to run and act as efficiently as possible.

This is the app that I used https://market.android.com/details?id=com.siriusapplications.eclairwidgets&feature=search_result

Though someone told me I could have done it with a free app called widgetsoid, I never bothered to look into this as I had already paid for the above but thought it was worth mentioning.

If you install adw launcher, go to ui preferences and sweet the dock icons to zero it expands the desktop.
