    Hi All

I know the Grangerath estate is in Drogheda but is technically situated in Co Meath.

Just curious to the majority of residents say give meath or louth as their postal address?

When getting a quote for car insurance etc do you say you leave in Louth or Meath (I know Navan issues the car tax discs, not Drogheda0

Also, does your house deeds state Co Louth or Co Meath?

    Just curious.....!!!!

Grange Rath is in Meath. And Technically it's not in Drogheda. Drogheda starts about a mile up the road.

When I moved in I tried to tax my car in Drogheda, but was told i couldn't because my address was in Meath.

so if you have to tax your car in a Meath address your insurance will be Meath too.

and I'm nearly sure my house deeds say Meath too.

The address for Grange Rath should look like this...

    00 Park something!!,
    Grange Rath,
    The Colpe,
    Co. Meath.

    But I write it like

    Grange Rath,
    The Colpe,
    Drogheda,
    Co. Meath.

I always thought it was just "Colpe" not "The Colpe"!

I live near enough Grange Rath but my address is Drogheda as I'm in the country but not in any "townland"

I always write my address as Meath but sometimes if you're filling in forms on the internet it doesn't give an option for Drogheda in "Meath" only in Louth. So sometimes I have to be in Louth.

The Colpe, Colpe or Colpe Cross.

    I've seen all these used.

As was said there is no technically about it, it is meath.

I think most people living probably class it as Drogheda or even Dublin!:)
