Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Yo,

    Im looking to replace my Acoustic Energy AE109's. I blew 2 of the cones and they dont make the bass reflex speakers for them anymore.

    If you know of anyone that would sell theirs or is selling, I'd take them off their hands.

    They are not my ones but they are the same. I'm lost without em and I dont want to get another brand, I swear by the AE's

    Best speakers going. They dont make em like they used to!!

    Great speakers alright but there are alternatives. System Audio, B&W or even second hand Royds? http://www.tirnahifi.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=225

    There's a few other possibles on that site but they're €1000+

    If you post a message in an appropriate forum on http://www.diyaudio.com/ There is a good chance someone on there might know of a suitable alternative driver that you could source and replace the blown ones with.
