Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hey!

I got a letter to say I am entitled to receive JSA. It read as follows:

    Your Total Weekly Rate: €196.00

Which will be paid from: 05-JUL-2010

Your first payment will be in your Post Office on: 22-JUL-2010 and every TUESDAY after that.

    July 5th was a Monday.
    €196.00 per week = €28.00 per day.

I collected from the post office today, but I feel like the amount I was given was incorrect.

If anybody out there would mind, I'd really really appreciate if you could do a quick calculation to work out how much you think I should have received today?? There is a July 2010 calendar here: http://www.free-printable-calendars.com/july10t3tngif.gif

    Many thanks.

Arrears are usually paid a bit later.

You should of gotten two weeks money so €392 euro. I think if they pay you in a weeks arrears notin advance.

It isn't €28 euro a day as they don't pay for Sundays so it a bit more than that. The money is sent to the post office on a Monday so you have been paid from Monday to Monday and will continue to be from now on.

They're called waiting days and you don't get paid for the first three.

Cheers to everyone who replied, I'm just trying to work this out in my head.

So €196.00 over six days weekly = €32.67 per day.

I got paid for 14 days.

Can anyone help me figure out for which fourteen days I got paid exactly?

...because I feel like it's something simple that I'm overlooking, and people on here are generally pretty knowledgeable.

As far as I know JA is paid Wed - Tues so tomorrow's payment should cover the period 21/7 - 27/7

    The 14 days therefor would be 5/7 6/7 7/7 8/7 9/7 10/7 12/7 13/7 14/7 15/7 16/7 17/7 19/7 20/7

    That help?
