Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dreading Holidays

Hi all, am off on holidays in a week and am completely dreading it. it's getting to the point where I'm losing sleep over it and panicking.
I'm going with my parents and 2 brothers and the cause of dread is one brother bringing his girlfriend. don't get me wrong, she's a nice girl but I've had weight and food issues for years and she is tall and skinny and makes me feel totally inferior and fat. since holidays have started approaching I've been panicking, trying to lose weight, obsessing over food and just feel like I'm totally losing it. it's a holiday, I should be looking forward to it etc but it's stressing me out so much. I'm not sure what advice Im asking for I just needed to put my feelings into words but any advice would be appreciated.

You're not going to lose any weight or revolutionise ourself in the space of a week.

I think you should just go shopping for some new clothes, buy a few books, and just get yourself in the mindset to relax.

I went on holidays with someone before and it was a disaster.. part of the problem was I was dreading it so much. I know that's not what you want to hear but it's true.. if you expect something to turn out bad it probably will.
