Demo finally downloaded.

EA SPORTS, its in the game is back (love it)

First impressions,

Keepers are much better defensively.

Animations a lot more fluid.

Cut-back goals not as easy (good thing imo)

Little in-game player stats such as distance covered and passing % are great

Menus and interface are great

Celebrations are brilliant with other players getting involved, huge improvement!

End of game player ratings and stats (a la the World Cup game) are very welcome.

This demo will certain get some usage over the next few weeks!

Love it.

EDIT: Playing as a keeper in arena mode is great fun too

Good demo in the 2-3 games I've played.

One thing I've noticed tough:

When I play a through ball over the top and my player is going shoulder-to-shoulder wit the defender trying to get to the ball my player starts to skid across the pitch sometimes. The animation isn't right there.

I've also just found out about the custom chants by reading the menus. It could be brilliant. I'm converting youtube video chant audio to mp3 format to put in the game when it comes out :P.

Any sign of it on the Xbox?

Its a real dog fight when playing online with LoI teams. To concede a goal is such a kick in the nuts.

Any sign of the demo yet on Xbox live? Not that I'll be able to play it until 6 anyways.

Was just able to add the FIFA11 demo to my Xbox download queue from the website.

Had to do a search of FIFA11 on the main search bar though. Its not showing up on the Demos listings.

It's still not available on PSN Europe yet, it's online in the US store!

Using the next-gen engine for the first time and from all the gameplay video's it looks the same if not graphically superior.

Has anyone played the demo yet? is it much different from the last one?

I'm a huge football fan and have been playing pro evo from the beginning but the latest fifa games (fifa 09, 10) have blown me away and in my view kicked pro evo's ass!!

Really looking foreword to the new one as the world cup game was fantastic, it will be interesting to see how they've improved it.

It certainly feels a lot different to FIFA 10. Shooting will taker a bit of getting used to. I honesztly don't know if I will be buying FIFA this year.

First impressions are not good for me. I got 5 yellows for sliding tackles in one match!!

This is my main gripe though. They seem to have made the sprint practically the same as a normal dribble. It's really slow even with the fast players.

It's like they took a step back from the World Cup game.

Maybe it'll grow on me though.
