Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The rules: *Photos must be in by 2 weeks of given task - closing date 8pm on Sunday 8th August…

In my picture "7" above, I lowered shadows right down, then raised the highlights, and a little levels adjustment. On other pictures I often use something from the Topaz bundle, which I am a bit addicted to.

It didn't do too well thanks-wise:mad:

Maybe it was just cropped/enlarged to aggressively - which gives it an unnatural look.

I'd say if you scaled it back to allow the seagull take up a lot less of the overall space that it would have done better.

Just my 2cents:)

Listen – I know it’s very rude and unIrish to declare oneself the winner- but I have just run in home from a neighbour’s BBQ where there is a sing-song just starting(and the beer is free & I want to get back)- and I think it’s important also to get the new challenge off on time. (Plus I havn’t seen squareballoon around for a few days).

Thanks Squareballoon for a great theme- and thanks too to all the other entrants and a special thanks to the ‘thanksgivers’.

All rejoice and give praise to the thanksgivers!

It seems a long time ago now since I threw all of my toys out of the pram on my very first attempt at one of these challenges! Thankfully, An Cath Dubh was around to ensure we got them back in again!:D:)

Enough of that and moving swiftly along – I have an idea for a new challenge and will post it very shortly and then run away for another free Heino.

Hopefully, the new challenge will be even nearly as popular as this one was.
