    how do start a poll when starting a new thread?Cant see it anywhere,

    Hey lab_mouse...

    Down at the bottom of the page, there's an "additional options" box. In there, there will be a "Yes, post a poll witH this thread" checkbox, with the number of options to set up.

    Note, however, that some forums have polls disabled. It could be that you're trying to post a poll in a forum that doesn't allow them.
