    Where the **** was/is the Funnel Bar in Dublin?
    The first gig outside of my locality I ever went to was Wilt there in the late 90's as a babbie. I've been living in Dublin for a good while since but can only remember that it was somewhere on the Quays

    If better suited to Dublin threads please move

    It was on city quay in Dublin. Best club ever. Very sadly missed!

    IIRC it was on Coppinger Row, the street that links Clarendon Street and South William Street.

    edit: disregard, t'was on City Quay.

    I went to a fair few gigs in the Funnel in the late 90s that had been organised by the Ultramack crew. The venue was on City Quay alright. I couldn't say exactly where but it wasn't too far a walk from O'Connell Bridge.
