    Heyo, it's that age old question, again;

    Anyone know a relatively cheap place for a few drinks tonight in the city? Doesn't have to be a completely quiet pub but definately not a club. Background music would not be a problem as long it can be talked over.

    And prices on the cheap side would be fantastic.

    Any suggestions?

    Anseo on Wexford St. is great, younger crowd but has a great range of craft beers, Galway Hooker etc, they have a dj on but never to loud and good sounds.

    Bull & Castle in Christchurch has pints of it's house beer for €3.85, plus it's a nice pub.

    Cheers for the suggestions but we went with a surprising alternative, somewhere I would never have thought to associate with cheap drink.

    Ron Blacks.

    Seems since the near bankruptcy of their parent company they've revamped their business model. €4 for pints. Of Carlsberg, etc at least, didn't think to check much else.

    And then to maintain the nights thrifty theme someone suggested Buck Whaley's. The nobhead! Tenner in and club drink prices for a fairly standard **** niteclub night.

    Ah well. The suggester will be punished.
