    Hi

I am looking for a replacement power adaptor for a netopia modem. It's an AC/DC adaptor Input 230/50/110. Output 12. I can't find one online with this spec and I don't know enough about it to know whether some other spec might do. I saw a universal ac/dc adaptor on Amazon and wondered if I could use that. Grateful for any ideas where I could get one - Dubliin city / south Dublin/ Wicklow area?

it needs to be 12 Volts DC. check Current. Probably 1Amp, you must have same DC Volts and same or higher current (Amps).

Input volts can be any value from 220V to 240V

    Maplin Jarvis St.
    Argos

Thank you. I will check Argos. The Output on the one I have says 12 OV 800 mA. Does that mean it's 12 Volt?

    yes. 12V DC
    Also 800mA = 0.8A
so any 1A unit will do better. 750mA (=0.75A) is too small.

Thanks so much - I hadn't a clue what those numbers meant. I know what to look for now. Much appreciated. :)
