Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

why are some free apps not on the Irish store?

Just downloaded ''google serach by voice'' , works very well. However, I had to stick a UK sim in my phone to get it. I'm sure there are many more quality free apps missing from the Irish Android store, buy why?

Just downloaded ''google serach by voice'' , works very well. However, I had to stick a UK sim in my phone to get it. I'm sure there are many more quality free apps missing from the Irish Android store, buy why?

Some apps, although free are protected. This means that while free they are only available in countries that Google support for paid market purchases. That's why they don't show up in the "irish android store".

The Amazon app is another example which we can't get here unless rooted or using an alternate sim.

Some devices wont be supported by certain apps too, so thats another reason why an app might not show up.
