Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just wondering has anybody bought a Camper either in the UK or France-Germany AND traded in an Irish registered Camper.
Seems to me to be a much bigger choice and not to mention a significant price difference.
Woluld appreciate any words of wisdom from somebody with experience of this.

I know someone who traded a van in the UK. Are you buying secondhand or new.

Looking for a secondhand, as I need a particular layout and better chance I think in big market.

Any of the Motorhome dealers should do a trade in. Make sure the van you are buying has 6,000 k on the clock and is over six months old, then it is not liable to vat here. Also that the new van is over 3 ton, which you can clear for 50 euro VRT.

I think from dealers you will get batter choice. You can get contact information of dealer through the various website of used motorhomes for sale dealers. I was buy my motorhomes form the Germany motorhomes dealers. I was find the information about the dealer from net.

It seems that the Vrt rate of 50 euro will no longer be available after the 1st of January 2011.
