Cleaning 'Lead' off slates

Hi All, On upstairs dormer windows, we have a couple of lines from where dormer windows are down to edge of roof at gutters where you can see a faint line of lead. Is it possible to find something that would clean this off the slates? I would really appreciate if anyone knows of anything that can be used? Thanks
