    I've a decent e/w bet on Nina's ride, Nordic Hawk, got 20/1 but it's best priced 16's now and 14's generally. Not arsed if it wins now, my day has been made. :D

    Nordic Hawk ew might be worth a shot but it is risky. Lop off a small bit of the winnings maybe. Apt Manor might do it with less exciting odds of course.

    Had already backed Maytide - ran a cracker in Leopardstown to a real good one first time out but also looking at Henro Boy or Taken Twice as outside bet saver.

    Frustrating for me 1 winner, 2 second and a 3rd. Also one exacta. Problem being my main bets flopped.

    If Footprint had won the 7.35 it would have covered the night.Lucky15 @6/1 Battle resumes tomorrow.Night really soured by result of 5.45. Had backed Kalellshan@7/1 in Sligo July11th.Charles Byrnes' fancied horse finished down the field well behind Split Ear.Kalellshan wasn't pushed out.That's one for Galway we joked.Jockey said later his mount ran too freely early on,hence it finished tired.Of course we didn't back it! Picking a winner couldn't be that easy.Anyway, many horses are given easy rides pre Galway under the quite unsniffing noses of the stewards :mad:
