Super late night last night, very good day though.


Personally a day of highs and lows, another tripod incident and felt I could have gotten a little further in the tournament, however 7th isn't so bad and I took out some big players on the way so I 'm content, plus huge thanks to kiki for the new and improved doomstick. It's weird seeing people who were clear favourites before in the mid field now.

Suprise of the day was Ian McTetly who was playing a stormer from out of nowhere, and of course...

2 top 8 Guiles.

Simon Lau won with his beastly (and more aggressive) Guile.

To everyone in Inferno who's ever moaned about me, you should actually be thankful.

Oh yeah, congrats to Voa too, came second in Blaz Blue, he was 720ing like a mad thing.

Nice to see interest in a non capcom game growing.

Can't wait to see the vids =3 Especially the second Haku fight, I managed to get a dragged in tech roll to counter 720 to clutch it out, but man those fights were close. I think I took the set 2-1 by the barest of 720s.

Nice to see interest in BB picking up, shame it means I'm behind the curve once again - come on PAL release! I shouldn't have bothered entering CS really, I thought there would be other people stuck adapting from CT (Read: Sucking). Nope, pile of bloody experts been grinding it out solid since the NTSC release. :pac:

Failed to properly rep the family man also, started off with a reasonable showing for a change but then my arch-nemesis showed up and threw me off with his bull**** like he usually does (didn't even wait 'til his own match to start mouthing). So I've got to practice my Guile for the actual competition, and my real-life right hook for him.

Ah well, chalk it up to experience I guess. One of these days I'll show up to something and not play like a blind man with arthritis, just you all wait. :P

I missed out on Yrevals shmup challenge, got wrapped up in a CS practice session and couldn't bring myself to quit until I had to leave. Next time, maybe I'll bring a couple more in myself.

Cog threw a stick? I assume it wasn't his own in anger since he was always doing his usual "Oh yeah, I love me" expression when I saw him.
