Just interested to know, what would you do,if someone that you lived with, opened your post, "by accident"

Tell them to keep out of my business.

Opening another person's post is actually a chargeable offense.

you would tell them to p*ss off and dont do it again. put them in their place.

No need to goto cops or anything. Just put them in their place and if they do it again? ... let them have it.

Is it a regular thing or a once off?

Give them the benefit of the doubt... if it happened just the once. .

I'd politely but firmly say that I'm not happy & ask them to not to do it again. Accidents do happen - especially but not excusively if your letter looked like the sort of envelope they receive regularly.

If it was a once off let it go, can happen to anybody.

More than once let them know politely that it's not to happen again and that they need to be more careful.

If its a once off then I would leave it be, just remind them to check the name on the front in future. But if it happens again i'd certainly have words with them, its not on.
