    I just heard what sounded like 6 gun shots in quick succession here in Clontarf in the last five mins. Now theres sirens everywhere.

    I'm close to Alfie Byrne road but cannot see the main Clontarf road and I cant get out for a nosey, Anyone else in the area see anything?

    Yeah I live just round the corner from the Player's Lounge in Fairview, heard 6 shots, went down to have a look, looks like 2 or 3 guys shot. Cops all over the place now.

    I'm in Mountjoy Sq., didn't hear anything from here although in fairness you become immune to the sound of gunshots around here so if it was outside our front door I probably wouldn't notice.

    I heard it too - five or six loud bangs just before half twelve, followed by lots and lots of sirens. I'm in Marino, near Fairview Strand. Hope it's not what it sounded like...
