Quickest way of getting anything for proof of address

Just moved in last month, last place was in my name for bills etc, new place isn't, any advice on getting proof of address quickly, have bank account, and housemate has ntl, gas and esb in his name, cheers...

Contract is fine if you get one. Other wise change bank address and then order statement -2 days tops.

Its completely insane isn't it? I moved back home to my parents house and when I went to move my claim, they asked for proof, despite my having moved only the day before! The banks generally charge a lot of lolly for additional statements which isn't ideal if you are in this situation.

Generally they do tend to accept a copy of your signed lease or letter from house owner with a bill in their name.

Thanks, doing change of address ,have to write to local branch, load of crap, but looks handiest way..cheers for replies...

change your address with Revenue and ask for the balancing statement next day. you will get a proof within 2 days
