Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Desire Home Screen Notifications not working

Hi All,

New to Android and have a Desire. On my default home screen there is a Mail and Message widget. Both of these have been playing up on me. If i get a mail or a text I get a status update telling me the number of unread messages. But then when i read the message the number doesn't go away.

For example, I got a text 2 hours ago, read it and replied. Yet the Message widget on the home screen still has a 1 on it.

Anyone else notice this or have I changed some setting along the way?

Are you using handcent, chompsms, or the built in SMS function?

just the built in sms function. this also happened the other day on the default mail app as well. eventually the 1 went away but hours after i had read the email and replied.
