Wireless specifications for netbooks/small laptops

    I was looking through laptops (mostly small sized ones < 12 inches) on Ebay and all the ones I've looked at so far only have in-built Wireless LAN 802.11/b/g.

    I was expecting that many of them would have had 802.11n but that's not the case apparently. Just wondering if when buying a year old netbook I can expect most of them not to have 802.11n and if they don't is this really a big deal?

    it depends.. within the last 10 - 12 months most should support N standard.. however I wouldnt let it be a deal breaker as it wont matter too much for internet access, only noticeable when transferring large files.
