I'm in the process of setting up a site whereby my clients can advertise on my site.

My clients will be selling a range of products priced from €5-€100 per item.
I would say about 80% of products will be <€10.

I am not sure what to charge per ad as there is such a range of products. Most of the products will be in the lower price bracket. Paypal fees are also a problem. Say for instance a client is placing a product to sell for €5, if I charge €1 per ad, paypal take say €0.35 and also a percentage.

Are there more suitable payment options available? Set up costs a quite high.

    Any advice,

    Thanks,

    Reg.

Try premium rate text messages / phone numbers.

Get your own merchant account and talk to Realex

Paypal is expensive unless you are doing very high volumes (same can be said about any online payment method - volume -> reduced costs)
