    10 Box jump +turn
    10 T-pushups
    10 16kg Kb upright rows

    Work Block-15mins
    10 KB Swings 16kg
    5 DB press e/s 10kg
    2 Lengths of bounding
    11 rounds=14.40mins
    Bounding wasnt as sore today.

    Con Block-10mins
    Skipping
    2mins on/ 1min off x 5
Haven't skipped in years so I really enjoyed this one.
Only problem was....my poor arms. They got crazily sore from turning the rope...I don't remember that happening as a kid!!

Happy out! My head cold is also disappearing:D

Ah, ya should have hung around for a while after..I asked many a person 'Who are you?', so I would have eventually spotted ya.

I was the little brunette sitting on the left side of the room, in front of the guy on the stability ball....his ego is sooo BIG it would be hard to miss him:P:D

Did ya enjoy it? Take away any info for fixing your hips and/or shoulders?

As L so kindly pointed out, I also answer to Miss Piggy and Duracell.:D

Always wanted to try prowler pushes when I saw them. Looks like something to make me puke (erh not that I have 'that' problem).

You're certainly the little inspiration. Nice to see some females that want to lift heavy. When I told my friend I did a 211lb trapbar lift, she asked why would I want to do that?? And she's a PT herself, I was looking for a little pat on the back, thought she would at least understand. Anyway I've learned to not say anything to anyone any more.

That reminds me of a few months ago when I was able to do my first pullup....the reply I got off all my friends and family....'Where you not able to do that already?'..they were supposed to jump around and squeal but they didn't get the memo:pac:

    Monday 21st February-S2

    Deadlifts
    60kg x 5
    60kg x 5
    80kg x 5
    85kg x 3
    95kg x 2
    105kg x 1
    105kg x 1
    105kg x 1
    105kg x 1
    105kg x 1
Deadlifting was grand enough..they weren't all perfect. I was kinda amazed at how the singles started to feel harder as we went along.

    Reverse Hypers
    3 x 15 60kg

    Alternate situps
    3 x 20 with 20kg

    DB Bench Press
    12.5kg x 8
    12.5kg x 8
    15kg x 8
    15kg x 8
    15kg x 8
    15kg x 8
    15kg x 8
I gave the 17.5kgs a good 3 tries..each time I failed to even get them into position...so bored of doing it with 15kg..it feels sooo easy, I just stop at 8reps cos I get bored.

    Inverted Ring Rows
    5 x 12
    a little bit better

    45 degree Side bends
    3 x 10/10

    Single DB Press
    15kg x 12
    15kg x 12
    15kg x 12
    15kg x 12
    15kg x 12
Probably should of attempted using a heavier weight..but the thought never crossed my mind..next week

    Con Block-10mins
    Agility block

Was in flying form today:D:D..I was quite tired last week but that seems to be well and truely shaken away!

    Tuesday 22nd February-C1
Presumed I was safe from the prowler today..but it was sprung on me.

    Con Block-10mins
    40kg prowler pushes
    23 pushes in 10mins
Went with the plan of 'keep pushing it for as long as you can'..and it didn't hurt my head..at all..it worked out as 3 pushes and then a rest and slowed down to 2 and a rest near the end..I was incredibly slow though.

    Work Block-15mins
    10 Box jump +turn
    10 T-pushups
    10 16kg Kb upright rows
    12 rounds in 15mins
Same as last few times..was even taking a fair few breaks inbetween. Box jumping after the prowler is not fun.

    Con Block-10mins
    40kg prowler pushes
Same plan as before..really not used to the feeling of lactic acid building up
    22 pushes in 9.50mins

    Work Block-15mins
    10 KB Swings 16kg
    5 DB press e/s 10kg
    2 Lengths of bounding
    11 rounds=14.30mins

A grand day's work:) Prowler didn't hurt my head...so all was right with the world

    Friday 25th February- S2
Went training early today because I had the day off and was in flying form when I got up this morning. Was expecting to get a good session in seeing as I felt great but it just seemed my body wasn't up for it!

    Deadlifts
    60kg x 5
    70kg x 5
    80kg x 5
    90kg x 3
    100kg x 1 This was supposed to be a double..didn't happen
    100kg x 2
    100kg x 2
    100kg x 2
    100kg x 1 Supposed to be a double but just wasn't happening.
    80kg x 5 x 5 settled for this instead

The sets at 100kg were extremely slow leaving the ground..slower than 110kg or 115kg ever felt, think someone has been messing around with the gravity in the gym again. They were also the ugliest reps I think I've ever done..not too bothered by it, couldn't be helped..back to normal next week I'd say

    Reverse Hypers
    3 x 15 60kg
    Grand

    Alternate situps
    3 x 20 with 20kg

    DB Bench Press
    12.5kg x 8
    12.5kg x 8
    15kg x 8
    15kg x 8
    15kg x 8
    15kg x 8
    15kg x 10

    Inverted Ring Rows
    5 x 12
    a little bit better

    45 degree Side bends
    3 x 10/10

    Single DB Press
    15kg x 12
    15kg x 12
    15kg x 12
    15kg x 12
    17.5kg x 7

Unfortunately, I think I'm gonna have to do a wee bit more stretching and mobility work from now on...ughhhh

Well you certainly aren't one for keeping secrets....I was just being considerate... I didn't want Hanley to feel left out.

Also, I'm starting to wonder why everyone keeps telling me to join BJJ..for some strange reason I don't think it's because ye think I'd be any good at it..I think ye are just after a fondle/ grope/ mount.

:)Yup, ye are all right, I do need a competitive outlet...the daily conversation of 'What's your sport?..Eh I don't have one yet' is starting to get a bit old:P.

What do you think of me maybe going to one of the ladies kickboxing classes in the gym..or if I'm thinking about that should I just give the ole BJJ a try??

I hate that all the time...people asking me if I am a powerlifter, bodybuilding, athlete, fighter, male model, superhero etc etc...I am just me.

Why don't you start with some of the women's Muay Thai...if you like that...then do some of the Muay Thai classes...if you like that try the beginners BJJ...it is basically all technique and drilling....and if you like that you can do more....it won't take you long to realise that it isn't about groping and fondling.

It's a good thing that they ask that question directly to you, cos if they were asking everyone else what you are..I think we'd give them a different answer:P

    Con Block-10mins
    40kg prowler pushes outdoors
Started off grand, doing them in doubles then resting and then changed to singles
    14 pushes in 10mins

    Work Block-15mins
    10 Box jump +turn
    10 T-pushups
    10 16kg Kb upright rows
    11 rounds in 15mins
Down a round..I was taking my time a bit:(

    Con Block-10mins
    40kg prowler pushes outdoors
    11 pushes in 10mins
Completely wussed out on this one...I've no excuses.Prowler just felt so bloody heavy the second time round, could actually feel all the muscles in my body trying to push the thing....took too much of a 'rest' in between too:(

    Work Block-15mins
    10 KB Swings 16kg
    5 DB press e/s 12.5kg
    2 Lengths of bounding
    11 rounds=15mins
10kg DBs were in use, so used the 12.5kg and bounced the presses up a bit.

I haven't decided whether I prefer pushing the prowler outdoors yet..but I don't mind waiting a while before doing it again.

No mention of me feeling your breasts or mounting you from behind or any of the other stuff I did to help you out today?

    Wednesday 2nd March-S2
    Weight= 55.2kg
Haven't weighed myself in over a week cos I was on a crazy sugar buzz all last week. Been eating perfectly all week this week(yet another reason why my deadlifting shouldn't suck) my sugar cravings seem to go in cycles

    Deadlifts
    60kg x 5
    70kg x 5
    80kg x 5
    90kg x 2
    100kg x 2 (:()
    90kg x 2 (8 sets)
UGGGHHHH...my stupid strength seems to have abandoned me.:( Same as last day, everything was just so slow leaving the ground, I wouldn't mind if I knew what the problem was but I aint got a clue. I thought the deadlifting sucked last Friday cos I'd already done heavy deadlifts on the Monday of that week ...but was well rested over the weekend, feeling great..yet it's still sucking. Stupid, stupid strength stuff...that gravity is interfering again:D

    Reverse Hypers
    3 x 15 60kg
    Grand

    Alternate situps
    3 x 20 with 20kg

    DB Bench Press
    12.5kg x 8
    12.5kg x 8
    15kg x 8
    15kg x 10
    15kg x 10
    15kg x 10
    15kg x 10
    Stupid 17.5s

    Inverted Ring Rows
    5 x 12

    All reps done unbroken:D...finally
My extreme dislike for these may have changed..:)

    45 degree Side bends
    3 x 10/10

    Single DB Press
    15kg x 12
    15kg x 12
    17.5kg x 8
    17.5kg x 8
    17.5kg x 8

Well you have pulled 3 times in just over a week, it hammers your lower back. Have a look and see if you did any posterior chain stuff over the last few days.

I can't understand that you can't DB bench the 17.5's while you can easily rep them overhead!?!

    Oh and ring rows suck.........ass

    ..it's OK I was a one-hit-wonder:P..it's time I shared the awesomeness around:D

Apart from the RDL's on Monday hadn't really done any posterior chain stuff since Friday..it's just the slowness of the bar leaving the ground that's annoying...well that and the fact that it's heavy

I can't get the 17.5kg into place to DB Bench...well..when I get them into place nothing happens...same for the incline bench. With the pressing overhead I 'bounce' them up a bit.

ive seen kids on bouncing castles bounce less!

as for your deadlifting, i keep meaning to turn off the gravity switch.
    next time........

Stop saying that...otherwise I will stop throwing you down, mounting you and making you moan.

Don't worry. We are going to fix it.

Getting someone in to fix the gravitational pull? Great!

Good,....devilish plans are so much better than regular plans.

    Thursday 3rd March-C1
My back was feeling much better today.

    Con Block-10mins
    Sprints upstairs
[Halfway out sprawl and back, full way out sprawl and back X2, 30 sec rest]
    x10
Managed to keep all the sprints just under 30sec

    Work Block-15mins
    10 Box jump+turn
    10 T-pushups
    10 16kg Kb upright rows
    12 rounds in 15mins
I normally dislike this block, mainly cos I know that if I want to get the 12 rounds in I have to keep going at it, felt grand today.

    Con Block-10mins
    Sprints upstairs
[Halfway out sprawl and back, full way out sprawl and back X2, 30 sec rest]
    x10
    Sprints were all about 28-29sec

    Work Block-15mins
    10 KB Swings 16kg
    5 DB press e/s 10kg
2 Lengths of bounding (started to hurt my lower back again)
    11 rounds=15.30mins
    same

    Con Block-10mins
    Sprints upstairs
[Halfway out sprawl and back, full way out sprawl and back X2, 30 sec rest]
    x10
+ a wee bit of cheating on this..I don't like anyone beating me at stuff so I may have been a bit on the eager side for starting each sprint..for equality purposes:D

    A grand day:)

A wee bit? I'd look up to start and you'd be disappearing into the distance.

I was only looking out for you, I thought you could do with the extra second or two of a rest..yes, I am kind and thoughtful.

    55kg x 1
55kg x F Tilted too far forward on the way back up
55kg x F Gave up too easy on this one, had just figured out how to drop a weight..so as opposed to trying my hardest to stand up with the weight because I'm scared ****less about crushing myself I took the easy road and dropped it..mightn't have made a difference but I did give up too easy.

    Sunday 6th March
Went for a run this morning, completely forgot how much I like running when I'm not aiming for a time/distance/trying to get rid of xmas fatness or whatever other reason.

It was just a nice easy paced jog, one a scale of 1-5 it'd be a 2 quite surprising since I haven't gone for a proper run since Sept.
    6.2km=30.02mins

    Spin Class
I stocked up on my 'cardio' today:)

In other news, I've decided to boycott the IP record board, it's unfair so I'm out.

    Lame.

Nope, what that stupid record board is, is a tool of de-motivation. What's lame is me getting the stupid records..inverted rows or some ****e like that

You and me both today, although it has been more since Sept '09 since I've done any outdoor running since my niggly hip, although today was hill sprints.
