Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Physio stuff= done ...whooop!
    Also just realised that although he upped the reps and the amount of exercises, he actually lowered everything to just 1 set instead of 3...seems quite doable now:) :)

    Spent most of Saturday hanging out of a pullup bar that my dad put up in the house...(in an attempt to get me to visit more often :D:D)
    Did at least 20 singles throughout the day.

    Sunday called for more messing...got a strange idea into my head that I wanted to find out how to do handstands against a wall.
    One of the many, many efforts.

    Was gonna continue on and do more but then I thought that the time would be better spent not killing myself and actually doing my physio stuff

    And all the stretching!

    Need to find a happy medium with the conditioning...doing a bit to keep me happy..but not too much that'll ruin the Weightlifting!!

    Friday 18th January

    Possibly competing next week so trying my best to be as good as gold! :) Did a good bit of aerobics and body conditioning in the course last night..so had to take a recoveryish type of day ahead of tomorrow.

    Saturday 26th of January-UL and Munster Open
    By the time the comp rolled around on Saturday I was too exhausted from being nervous all week that I was actually grand.

    Only two girls competing so we were put at the end of the first group...twas nice to have that extra time and not being first.

    33kg/ 35kg/ 37kg....AND I somehow managed to power them all...eeek

    Clean and Jerk

    43kg/ 46kg/ 50kg managed to power all of these again. When I'm nervous I just forget how to move:o

    Was very happy that I didnt clark any of the attempts by not trying..which happens frequently in training

    Twas a really great first competition. It was run really well..no hiccups.. and there was a really great atmosphere...and a LOT of alcohol consumption afterwards!! :D

    I'm sooo stoopid! Thought Id be in flying form to train today...turns out I wasnt. I wonder if maybe the competition had anything to do with it..or the excessive alcohol at the weekend:rolleyes:
