Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    So the last few days I've finished work exhausted...then went training tired...then coached...and by the time I'm finished and arrive home its late and I'm wired and can't sleep:(:(:(

    Been getting a max of 6 hrs sleep all week when I really need 9.5+...so reeeeally looking forward to the weekend

    Back spasm isnt nearly half as bad as the one last year. Im still able to walk and sit/stand painfree. So tonnes of ibuprofen and deep heat...and hopefully I can still compete next week:(:(

    Thanks:):)it's feeling much better! Stoopid tight piriformis ruining my back. So glad I stopped straight away Saturday and looked after myself. Was able to train yesterday and today..so I'll still compete this weekend...but gonna be very reserved with my numbers.

    Saturday 2nd of May- Connaught Open
    First comp in 5 months..plan was to take it easy and go 6 for 6. Was sooo close! Made a really stoopid mistake on my 48kg snatch...was surprised I caught it and stood up too quick:( I NEVER make that mistake...and wont again...lesson learnt!! Cleans were piss but they actually look hard on the vids:pac::pac:...Im not gonna lie...didnt stretch or mobilise at all this week...just didnt have time..eep

    Saturay 30th of May Leinster Open

    Been a bit freaked all week that my weight dropped so quickly.
    Was 52.8kg on my scale this morning...but the competition scales said 52.3kg

    Really fecking delighted that I made weight in the 53kg class...never been in that weightclass despite the fact that I used to compete as a 52kg in powerlifting.

    We decided that this comp was all about seeing how I felt lifting as a 53kg and the goal was to not bomb whilst being light!

    My head was all silly in the snatches...was shaking terribly and then I couldnt remember my start position which freaked me out more!!! Cleans felt easy...but the bar was just a tad too forward on the 64kg for me to rack. All in all...despite getting no comp PBz...I really frickin happy!! :D:D Am gonna spend the week eating and then decide what we'll do about nationals :)

    Women's Mini Marathon-10k under90mins
    Only did it cos a friend needed support as she attempted to jog it. Was graaaaand...my friend set the pace so was a walk with bouts of jogging.

    Was graaand until I went to walk hours after the race having sat drank and ate and realised that my ole runners knee flared up:(:( Was sooo painful to walk

    Plenty of foamrolling today should sort it though. Not back to proper Weightliting trainng for another week so alls grand
