New to xbox 360 modding need help please

    Can someone please put me onto a good guide on how to mod an xbox 360. I would like to start modding myself but dont know where to start thanks for your help.

    Modding as in what? Please give some examples of what you're looking for - +5v sources for LEDs? +12v sources for extra fans? Internal HDD mod? Watercooling? Flashing? JTAGing?

    You will need a T8 and T10 screwdriver to open your 360 first. Then you will need a bit of hardware such as the ck3 pro: http://www.ck3.co.uk/xecuter-ck3-pro.html

    Those CK3 kits do make things handy, & I would also second you get one. But depending on the drive, flashing can be accomplished without one. It's awkward though (using the 360 to power the drive, while it's sata'd to your pc).

    Sorry but i have one last question when i flash do i need to remove the dvd drive from the xbox and is it a simple process. I have modded my wii and psp and they work great would the process be as simple as these

    Once opened its quite simple, you will need to remove it though.
