    Lots of people standing around in there last evening and they've had the diggers out last weekend?

    Just thinking the same thing, is this the start of phase 2.....surely not!!

    Are there not enough vacant houses in Ireland!!

    IDA putting in ground work for future businesses.

    There's no phase two of Charlesland. Little spot of bother with banks and builders you may have heard about.

    No, that was the field on way out of Charlesland. This is field to the south of Charlesland between here and Kilcoole. Not big enough for Brian.

    Yep IDA infrastructure. The road from the Kilcoole industrial estate is being extended to meet it. All part of the Wicklow Port to Industry Plan.

    But the OP was talking about the field designated for phase two, south of the existing estate. That land is owned by Zapi, not the IDA. And I also saw some unusual activity there about a week ago.

    AFAIK, the IDA thing is the abandoned-looking site between Greystones and Charlesland, discussed here but in a different thread.

    What's being built off one of the roundabouts between Charlesland & Shoreline - it looks like a road with that may join up with the Golf course?
