Broadband Kilcoole Co. Wicklow

    Hi,

    Can anyone suggest a broadband provider for Kilcoole, Co Wicklow, Eircom can only offer me up to 1GB, this is who my landline is with.

    I presume you mean 1Mbps, as 1GB would be the fastest broadband available in the world.

    If your line is only capable of 1Mbps, then all the re-sellers will only give you the same. To get anything faster you'll need an alternate source, cable (UPC) or wireless (Metro, Breeze, etc).

    Hey little miss,

    If your north of the sea road, you probably are only ever going to get 1mb (if even that) as it runs back to greystones.

    If your south in beachdale etc its connected to Newtown and gets upto 3mb.

    The only real alternative is Wicklow Broadband (http://www.wicklowbroadband.com/home-user)
