Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It just makes me sad that McShane is still in the squad, let alone on the field.

€7 a month? and nothing is blocked or anything like PL games?

If you already have Sky then Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 2 is free on mobile tv until the end of the month if you want to test it out.

og as well. The red tops will have a field day with their Anti-Capello crusade if the score remains like that.

McShane is really bad. Is there no one else at all for that position?

Yeh .. The fans gave them a good reception at the start . . In all fairness, losing to hungary in a friendly is pretty shocking ! !

Seamus Coleman is better than Cafu.

I'd say it was Heinze, tbf. He deserves to be booed.

Obviously alot of United fans giving serious funds towards FAI between this and last week . . ;)

Much better 2nd half from Ireland . .

Dont care if some of its down to Argentina dropping it a level, still good to see Irish Teams play till the end . .

Great ball in from Tracy, unlucky.

Samuel has had some very important blocks.

It was blatently obvious those boo's were aimed at Heinze.

Did Heinze come off for Insua or was I imaging things?

If he did, then they were definately booing Heinze.

Clearly Heinze and who was it embarrassing?

Lovely side-step and run down the wing to set-up the cross too.

Why would they be booing either of them:confused:

If people pay money to watch Messi and rep of Ireland play they reserve the right to boo W*nkers . . Whatever about Insua, Heinze is a grade A hatable twat . .

Insua 'cause he plays for Liverpool.
Heinze 'cause he was angling for a move to Liverpool when he was at United and he got pissed off when Fergie wouldn't sell him to them.

Duff's crossing has been dire all night.

Just the early booing of Mascherano , the commentators and me might lead one to think otherwise

To be honest, those were louder boos than Mascherano was getting, and it wasn't just United fans booing Heinze. I think it's widely accepted that Heinze's one of the biggest arseholes in football.

That Tracey lad has something about him.

    Great crosser of the ball

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,510 ✭✭✭population

Jeez you would think they would have been sent out with some instructions along the lines of "listen lads, new stadium, new era, so we would like you to take at least one shot tonight"

    No such luck.

    Good second half performance.

Very promising display by the Treacy lad, looks a player.

    hard luck Robbie! :)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 26,522 ✭✭✭✭noodler

    Shame.

    Ah well.

Sometimes I wish Robbie wasn't as nice to the opposition players.

Never seen that before! (goalie coming up in a friendly).

Decent effort in the second half, first was well.... crap.

Onward to the qualifiers I suppose

Much better performance in the second half. Could have grabbed a goal near the end. I thought Duff was probably our best player. He worked very hard. Overall a lot of positives to take from the game.

His performance was the only good thing to emerge from that game. 1 shot on target all game, pitiful.

I need hope.....is there ANY chance of Trap dropping Kilbane and McShane? :(

Duff was very good as well.

We really need to get him off the wing where he's too often a periphery figure and into a trequartista role.
