Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I'm a student and just found I am entitled to dole during summer months because I worked during first 8 months of 2008

    So I first enquired at the office last week when my mum read something in the paper. Had meeting yesterday with documents and the like.

    Now the girl said I could have claimed since may but doesn't know if it will be backdated - gave me a form to fill out. On it I just said I genuinely didn't know until I read the thing in the paper. I really didn't - even started this thread before http://boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055536678

    Anyone with experience have any idea if they might backdate it?

    Not an expert by any means but I would assume you will get it backdated.

    When i came back from Australia years ago I didn't bother signing on as I assumed I would get a job fairly quickly.

    This didn't happen and so I signed on after a few months and got the dole backdated to when I arrived home.
