siemens gu12l444gb freezer

    hi folks,

    bit of stupid question really, have the above freezer at home but for the life of me cant figure out if setting 1 or setting 7 is colder?

    setting 1 seems to over freeze it (just defrosted it again) so i figure out that 7 would be colder again like the fridge?

    right?....

    According to the manual, position 1 is the hottest setting and position 7 is the coldest.
    There a re a number of self checks that you can if the freezer is too cold. These can be found in the user manual.

    See instruction manuals section on the left, just input the model number and you will be able to download the manual.
