Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You will be eligible to apply for Jobseekers Allowance when three months have passed from the finish date of your Leaving Cert exams. JA for those under 22 is €100.00 per week and, as you live at home, the means test will take your parents' income into account.

You might well be able to do some courses right away. In addition to Fas courses, check this out re education possible while retaining your JA payment

    http://www.welfare.ie/EN/OperationalGuidelines/pages/bte_pteo.aspx

Ask at your local VEC office re post Leaving Cert Fetac level 5 courses run under the Back to Education Initiative.

You will have to apply for J.S Allowence if you havent saved up enough stamps.

As your under 24 your parents income will be taken into account.
