Wee Problem with upc Cisco modem

    seems i cant enter the setup tab.

    i know the password that i set up back in when it was installed ( saved it in firefox ) but it doesnt work anymore.

    You probably got an automated firmware update
    This would reset the router admin username/password back to the UPC default.
    If search here you should be able to find it.

    thanks for the reply RikD
    setup menu and advanced menu are not the same Setup menu is more for wireless options, firewall and some advanced networking options like port forwarding the Advanced menu page seems something else entirely.

    password was reset to the default ( blank for both user name and password ) but it seems it would not go though on Firefox.

    used IE and i got the page to set a new password so i now have access to the setup page again.
