Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

get a decent second hand bike for that money, not a halfords p.o.s.
search this forum for previous posts.

Ya, don't get an Apollo. They're cheap and nasty. Why do you want a mountain bike anyway? Are you heading off road? If you're not get a secondhand hybrid. Much easier to ride and cycling is all about efficiency. Check out adverts.ie. What height are you?

Тhis is what you should be buying
Or this. Offer him E350. Honestly, buy cheap pay twice.

+1 to that. get something like tha trek (if you aint heading off road) and put the other 30 towards getting mr. skeff to service for you.

also consider a road bike if not going off road, they might be a bit more expensice. but stay away from halfords unless your going for a boadman

I wouldn't go with Halfords either, get yourself a good well known brand, Trek as suggested above is good

I'll take a look at that second hand one.

    Cheers.

That Norco will do the job off road. You've got a tight budget though so you can't expect to find the perfect bike today and buy it tomorrow. It could happen quite easily but my advice would be to make haste slowly.
