Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

With all this transfer speculation and nonsense we've been going through . . . why didn't we ask this commentator? His knowledge of our "extended transfer list" and exactly who is coming and going is immense

    Who'd ave thunk it ?

Lads, what's the story with the commentator? What's the problem with him? I'm watching the Shams - Juve match on tv and have the stream of this match on mute!

The commentator on Setanta is a cretin.

Nice start to Roy's career. Happy with the performance and result

    Cavalieri - 6 - nothing to do
Kelly - 8 - solid at the back, good going forward, got an assist
    Agger - 7 - solid
    Skrtel - 7 - solid
Kygriakos - 7 - coped well with booing
Lucas - 7 - passing was a bit off. Got an assist
Spearing - 7 - impressed me more tonight, but the opp. were poor
Aquilani - 6 - some nice touches but the game passed him by
Amoo - 7 - most threatening attacking player for most of the game, let down by his crossing.
Jovanavic - 6 - got better as the game went on, but didn't do much
N'Gog - 8 - took both goals well, and worked hard apart from that

    who wanted to sell N'Gog?

i repeat, i don't want to see him go out on loan. he has something, and we can use it this season.

    we're not flush with strikers.

If we bought another striker, maybe. Being third choice wouldn't do his development much good either

if we can afford someone definitively better than N'Gog, who'll sit on the bench, then brilliant, send him out on loan.

but i don't fancy seeing us buy some 27/28 year old of equal standard, while sending N'Gog on loan. no need IMO. i'd prefer him to stay and train with the likes of Torres and Gerrard every week.

IMO, that and 15-20 games will do his development a world of good.

    I put my hands up , I didn't rate him .
Going on tonights performance I take it back . It wasn't a big calibre game but he will be good to have if played in the right position .
