We go to DTI but they might be a bit out of the way if you're on the southside. The DSPCA do them as well.

Don't know if it's too far but the Kildare Animal Foundation in Kildare Town run a doggy club on Thursdays. It's free . You'll can get details from their facebook page.

IMO good training is worth travelling for. We did a couple of courses at DTI & we live in Kilkenny.
