    What if the defibulator fails?

You think god lets millions of children die of starvation in desperate poverty but throw up a prayer when some middle-class westerner has a heart attack due to the excesses their life has given them, he'll step right in there?

Havent had a heart attack, but I will say a prayer for you.

Your comment was in relation to another poster, nobody mentioned you and heart-attacks?

I don't need your prayers, why not do something that actually helps people like volunteer, visit old people or give to charity. Ironically I do all three.

And I'll have my shaman dance around with a rattle and a skull to appease the gods.

I need to highlight prayer is not a charitable attribute and you suggesting praying for me serves of no use other than making you sound insidiously sweet.

I didn't realise patronising someone with "I'll pray for you to change your mind" was "respect".

I especially don't want to be prayed for once told about it as it appears to make the situation worse, rather than better....

Choices always were a problem for you. What you need is someone strong to guide you.
Deaf and blind and dumb and born to follow, what you need is someone strong to guide you...like me.

If you want to get your soul to heaven, trust in me, now don't you judge or question.
You are broken now, but faith can heal you. Just do everything I tell you to do.
Deaf and blind and dumb and born to follow, what you need is someone strong to guide you. Deaf and blind and dumb and born to follow, let me lay my holy hand upon you. My god's will becomes me, when he speaks, he speaks through me. He has needs, like I do, we both want to rape you.

Jesus christ, why don't you come save my life, now. Open my eyes, blind me with your light, now. Jesus christ, why don't you come save my life, now. Open my eyes, blind me with your lies, now. If you want to get your soul to heaven, trust in me, now don't you judge or question. You are broken now, but faith can heal you, just do everything I tell you to do.

So although you know very little one thing you do know is that the majority of the worlds population know very little. I'd like to see the results of this research.
My opinion, never said it was fact.

    Big difference.

And my opinion is based on my cynical nature.

funny that, if I had a "heart attack" I think I'd rather have a "leap of faith" with "doctors" using "science" to help me, with their magical ways of making sick people better. do I know the workings of a cardiogram or defibulator? nope, would I put more trust in those helping me than my entire family sitting around praying for me? yup.
I agree, I addressed this in my following post if you were to read back.
