Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, I was interested to know has anyone ever used the Boardman comp bicycle for sale in Halfords, the basic version at 625euro and how would it compare with a trek 1.2 or Giant Defy. I am buying my first road bike and the Boardman, being 150 euro cheaper than the trek, how does the spec compare to rivals in this price bracket, especially considering the follow-on service care required, which halfords will be 'providing', or is there anywhere else that stocks the bike?

    Thanks

The version for 625 euros is a single speed-It has no gears. The other bikes mentioned do have gears afaik.
