In fairness we have two inexperienced full backs, Cleverly left wing who's been impressive at times but is still inexperienced, Evans who I don't think has been near the ball and Gibson out of position on the right, along with Diouf who looks a bit lost with the ball being lumpe dup to him. With Evra and JOS at full back, Fletch next to Scholes and Nani and one other, United'd walk this crowd.

Exciting enough game all the same. Wish I could stay up but I'm wrecked. Enjoy the rest of it lads (and lass).

Looking at the slow mo replay, it looked like he hit the ball fairly well. You want to hit those volleys into the ground so they bounce and make it hard for the keeper. It was well taken IMO...

Biteen off topic but anyway, judging by the build up to the game, I'd say half time will be quite long.

Well someone brought it up in AH's again so I did it and it consists mainly of United supporters!

i really have my doubts with him.

thing is, hes 4th choice CB at best and i really am not sure why we shelled out in him. I can understand with Rios injuries the need for a CB but Smalling just looks too raw

I guess Evans is THAT player (i have such high hopes for him) but kinda my point is the 12m no matter whether its based on appearances/success etc I feel could have been better spent. Im obviously being wayy to harsh on Smalling but from what i've seeni have little confidence.

Fresh legs should hopefulyl increase the tempo. Welbeck has been good in this pre season so hope he builds on that.

Hopefully the result won't matter too much for the young lads.

Diouf doesn't really impress me at all tbh. Can't see him lasting much longer.
