Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Cheers Baambata.

First time I'd done the race and was really impressed. Great course, great organisation. I'll be doing it every year. Also seems that the xc run suited me.

Well done to Piranha for the organisation of the event. top job :) The course was good too. I thought the atmosphere wasn't as good as some other events I have done. Some good support in the park but also lots of people walking on by like nothing was happening.

Did anyone else get a measurement of the run course? It was either a little short or I did my best 10km in ages! ;)

It came in at 9.53 km for me. Great day out; very well organized race and lots for Piranha to be proud of (all on time, great course and closure of roads etc, loads of photos, good finish area setup with results/massage/drinks+bananas).

There was a lack of the buzz that there has been at other races though, which was a pity given the location. I think the buzz could be regained if the transition wasn't separate from the finish (or if there was some way to avoid people disappearing from the finish so quickly ie. going back to transition to get their clothes), and if a couple of specific spots were encouraged for spectators so they were a bit more bunched up and gave that mob-mentality of cheering :)

Will definitely do it again, I really enjoyed the course -- many thanks to the organizers and marshals on the day!
