Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

help! Free converter for VOB to MPEG?

    Hi all,
    I'd really appreciate it if you could help me. I have some interviews I videoed for a research project. They're in VOB format and I can play them in VLC media player. But I would like to convert the audio into MP3 so I can send them to a transcription service.

    There doesn't seem to be a straight forward way of doing this so my current plan is to convert to MPEG and then the audio to MP3. I downloaded a few free software options from cnet but either they didn't work or they had a timeout of 10 minutes (my interviews range from 15- 56 minutes). Does anyone know of software that works? I only need to do this once and I don't want to pay for software as I only have 6 interviews (and won't be doing it again).
