Being Logged Out ???

    A couple of times recently I have logged in but when I go to post I am todd I am not logged in. When I then try to log in I lose my intended post which I have spent considerable time on. This is a bit of a pain. Any ideas whats happening.

    Hi there.

    The best way of making sure you don't get logged out is by making sure the "remember me" checkbox is ticked when you logged in (it's on the front page, right next to where you enter your username and password).

    If it isn't ticked, the server will log you out after about 15 minutes or so. If you're logged on in a public location, you'll have to remember to log out at the end of your session if you've ticked the "remember me" checkbox.

    Assuming there aren't issues with your own PC or with your ISP, that'll do the job - I can't remember the last time I got logged out from here.
