Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Dell Inspiration 560

    Intel® Pentium® Dual Core E5500(2.80GHz,800MHz,2MB)
    2048MB Dual Channel DDR3 [2x1024] Memory
    320GB (7200rpm) SATA Hard Drive
    Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64bit - English

    Dell IN1910N 18.5" HD Widescreen Monitor - UK/Irish
    Dell™ USB Entry Keyboard - UK/Irish (QWERTY)
Dell MS111 USB Optical Mouse (Indigo)
    Dell V313 Inkjet Printer
The printer is £60 (€70) including the cable (why is that even sold separately??) and the monitor is £100 (€120).

The whole lot comes to £490 (€590).

Am I better off getting the monitor and printer elsewhere? Should I shell out a bit more for a better monitor, Windows 7 Pro, larger HDD or anything?

    Cheers!

thats a good processor but not the best out there.. 2GB of ram is not enough for the OS either.. it will run but not optimally.. to answer the question, it looks like good value though

    How about this one:
    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/186618
    Processor
    • Intel® Core™2 Quad processor Q8300
    • 4 GB DDR3 RAM
    • 1 TB SATA 3G (5400 rpm)
    • DVD writer SATA DVD RAM and Double Layer supporting LightScribe technology
    • Operating System: Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
    With:
    http://www.ebuyer.com/product/195154
Samsung B1930N 18.5" Widescreen LCD Monitor.

Once you've bought a printer, you've spent a bit more money, but you've got a lot more PC for it.

be careful of 5400rpm disks.. the 7200 or higher disk actually make a huge difference.. espeically when paging!
