    That big bash of rain seems to be making its way into Dublin,just started chucking it down a few minutes ago. Feeling very Autumnal,wet and cool at 14c.

    12mm of rain today in Sligo, the monthly is close to 80mm now here which is the normal for the whole of August, therefore we will be getting an above normal month for rain once again though most of Ireland has had a drier than Normal August so far especially the South.

    5c will be reached in some places meaning a new low could be set for the month.

    The first mists of autumn have arrived. Cool and calm, 6.5C. Fell as low as 3C in Claremorris last night - brrrr!!

    Thought my weather station was broken this morning, 3.2c when i made a cuppa about 20 minutes ago!!! That's getting into ground frost territory!
