2.3c here this morning when i got up at 6.45 to feed the cats. Glourious day now, temp slowly climbing, but it wont be a record breaker today with the chilly N wind

as mentioned on Forecast Contest thread (wrongly perhaps), temperatured only dipped to 6.0c here in Sligo last night so not really that cold but colder than its been for the whole Summer. Tonight is gonna be another cold one but not AS cold. Perhaps 3 or 4 will be the min with just under this prob at Gurteen

Well IMO this is definitely the nicest day of the summer so far, kind of ironic given the summer is over for many schoolkids.

Typical Irish summer this year, good for september and for exam times:rolleyes:

9c tonight not as cool as last night. There is a bank of cloud to the Southwest of Ireland that may impinge on Atlantic coastal districts for some of tomorrow blotting out some sun. We'll see.

Nice sunrise this morning when I peaked out. Clouds and contrails have a stunning clarity about them in the cool crisp dawning light. Pic does not do it justice at all. Can see contrails heading all the way into and out of Dublin Airport!

an autumnal feeling 5.5c at the moment.
