I think this 'summer' has had it, really. Met Eireann are predicting very cool conditions starting from Friday, today was cold enough barely making it to 15C.

The mediocrity continues - 16c and slate Grey skies. Autumn/Winter 10/11 is going to be a very long one if this keeps going:(

I'd almost prefer rain to this. Grey , very boring weather indeed, not warm , not cool, not sunny and not raining , not windy or calm.

is this likely to bring a LOT of rain into the West tonight??

EDIT: the 3 hour forecast from Met Eireann should be above showing lots of yellow and purple close to West coast

Sick of Met People getin our weather so wrong.

Theres a Northwest Airflow. When will they see that this means almost continuous rain for Sligo in the form of mist showers or rain. Since July 1st this has been the case with a little respite in the last 10 days of July apart from July 30th

Do the met people not even look at the satelite properly. Evelyn even said after the 6 news that cloud would move into the NW but that it is only medium level cloud and would bring NO rain. Its raining.

Its clear to see that the NW will not get any good weather for at least 10 days and fair dues to her she said the weather would stay unsettled until the middle of next week at least. Think Sligo might as well say goodbye to Summer and prepare for Autumn:(

Yesterday turned into the nicest since June, really warm and sunny by afternoon. Today
has started well but I doubt the temps will clear 20 unlike yesterday.

The weather station on the roof of this building in Slieverue says highest temp today was 21.5c at 10.13am, its gone back down to 20.4c now. The sun is very warm when it comes out but still lots of cloud.
