Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

70 Gigapixel photograph

    This is the largest digital photograph ever created, surpassing the last by 25 gigapixels.

    The photograph shows the Budapest skyline created by two 25mp Sony Alpha 900s and two Minolta 400mm and 1.4 extenders on robotic tripods.

    It took 2 days solid processing to stitch all the photos together. Have a look here

    It's great that they spent all that time, effort, processing resources and money to come up with the most astonishingly boring picture ever. Technicalities aside it has nothig going for it. 70 million billion gazillion pixels does not an interesting image make.

    when I first read the title I was like a 70gb image!! wholy image size batman! But now... shame about the haze

    I agree - its so far away its really hazy. Kind of defeats the purpose really.
